Wow... when
The Color Room launch the new palette this morning.
I had to dive in and try.
And I am marrying a sketch from Ingvild Bolme's weekend Sketch#2.
HERE
You got to check out her blog. My favorite scrapper.
She has good techniques.... but what I really love is her composition.
It's not only about good 'decorations'
...... piling on the scrappy stuff...
she tells the story of the subject thru design, color, emotions as well.
See and you know why.
Here's mine: BEAM

I made my own background.
Will share a tutorial next time.
I brush some gesso on white cardstock.
Then I dab diluted green paint (the shade I wanted)...
and use a kitchen towel to wipe it off as I dab.
This gives it a light color kiss effect.
Then after it dries, I use a dry brush and brush with light pink.
I chose to work with Prima Flight of Fancy papers.... perfect colors for this challenge.
Add flowers, pearl swirls and chipboards. Pop some butterflies for dimensions.
I am loving these combinations.
Some close up shots:

This mauve flower is my fave! Love the texture, love the jewel centre.
So vintage....... so girly at the same time.
It's like a brooch I find at my grandma's purse.

These swirls are my fave because there are little rosebuds on them.
And the felt vines are perfect color contrasts with the pinks.

Thanks for dropping by!
