catching up on time!!!

Hello friends, how are you? Can you smell the holiday season!!! I walked into a mall and I hear Christmas songs and see glittering lights. It is TIME TO BUY Presents!!! Gosh... I am so late this year! All the travelling last month and this has been taken a toll on me!!! I need to catch up on buying gifts!!! On the scrapping front, I have been diligent in my DT assignments. Now that I am back........ I want to take it a bit easier. LOL! All DT work are on track....... and I want to play with some challenges here and there. OPs.... did I forget my shopping??? Anyway, here's all the DT assignments for the past weeks which I did not post here. Here's one I did for The Scrappiest. "ALONE" Check out HERE. Here's one for Creative Prompts for you. HERE And here's one for my LSS (Made with LOVE) I love love this "newest" photo of my girl. Her latest craze is to water the plants in my block. (apartment) She is the resident gardener now! Spending 2 bucks on that watering can is soooooo worth it! Hours of fun for her. But I am not wanting to check my water bill for now! *chucks* See this butterfly? I rub some Distress Ink (Victorian Velvet) and then spray apply some Glimmer Glam (chandelier). It just sparkles!!! nice That's all friends! I got to return to my daily grind now! Life Swings by.................

Hello friends, it seems like a week that I have disappear from this blog. Well, in Singapore, it was 2 weeks of our Children exams...... so parents are also 'revising'.... LOL! Yap, I am one of those parents..... I feel like I am revisiting all my Maths paper, English grammar etc... it was so tiring!!! I am SOOOOOOO glad it is over....... moods and atmosphere at home is less tense. My kids are out playing again....... and MAMA here is scrapping again! Hooray!!! And in the midst of these stress, I am grateful that 7 of my layouts are requested for a magazine. Woohooo...... can't wait to see the actual magazine next year!!!! I am a VERY happy gal this week. And I know November is here! The smell of the holidays dawns upon me... the mall is picking up on Christmas colors and lighting...... life swings by so quickly, is it, my friends!!! Today I want to share this layout I did for Creative Prompts Challenge 40. Check out our Prompt ...... HERE. You will love it, join in and you can win a kit! "Yucks" Have you ever observe your kids? They do the weirdest and most yucky stuff. Like this princess of mine..... she was digging her nose in public! Totally dirty....... but.... the worst is not over. When I caught her doing that, she was eating some of the 'stuff' she dig out. I hope you are not eating your dinner while reading my blog. LOL!!! Yes... that's my dirty little girl...... then she turned around and offered me some! *Fainting*....... I love that I caught some random pictures of her.... totally hilarious pictures. love it! one of the prompt is to create a handmade embellishment this week..... see this white crepe paper flower.... I misted it and then use my scissors to randomly cut it here and there. Add a seam binding and it is done! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead. CP4U + Pencil Lines

hello friends, I am back with another 2 layouts............. I went into some very productive scrapping this week! Using Pencil Lines #41, this multi photo sketch is so fun! My take "Language of Love"............ I kept to the grid....... but delete some elements. Using Color Combo#163 of teal, red & white. I kept this to my shabby chic style, distress the edges, ink with red. Over at Creative Prompts for you#38..... this week's prompt is so fun! Hop over!!! HERE I also used a Pencil Lines Sketch #76 here, switched the circle element to a butterfly. Some random stitching...... Oooo.... my fave misting.... yellow and black... I really like how this turned out. The yellow, black and grey worked so well. I am loving the Pink Paislee papers and embellishments. Can you spot my new bob hair style? I crop it shorter this time. Ok, I had so much fun this week. I finished a total of 6 LOs using Pencil Lines sketches. I hope to win some prizes!!! LOL.... Btw, I am giving a RAK.... remember? Hello friends, I finally figure out how to get larger pictures on blogger. Sounds ancient, right! LOL. Thanks to Lucy...... and her video.... This week over at Creative Prompts for you. We have a new prompt. Come over and join in the fun! Win some goodies! Here's my take: "Darling daughter"...... this is a recent photo of her attending a school party. Dressed in her lovely ballerina dress and she wanted her hair pleated and nicely done. Then she turned to me "I feel so pretty today"........ she is really charming, I have to admit! LOL! I used Melissa Frances papers and all of my fave stuff. - I used a Kraft Envelope from Maya Road...I stamped randomly on it... dab some white paint to give it that vintage look - I misted it with Latte (Glimmer Mist), initially it was too white for me... I need to ink and mist it a bit. That's me! - and that Jenni Bowlin Butterfly..... this is my last piece. Boohoohoo!!! I like this vintage girly page a lot! HOw about you? Have a great weekend ahead... I can't wait....... cos I will be more relaxed and I can scrap abit more! Hopefully!

Need some mid week inspiration. Hop over to Creative Prompts for you NOW!!! HERE. We have a new and really fun prompt. I totally enjoyed myself on this one!!! "Adventure" I am in love with the bright colors....... the turquoise, red and yellow. This reminds me of the sea... Phuket... There's where my little darling shook me yet made me soooo proud. She just came up to us after seeing some beach goers try Para sailing.... "Mom, I think I am ready to try this". Seriously she is the last person to do such a thing. Usually fearful and less adventurous. And no parents allowed (in the air) with her... she is the solo-ist here... with an instructor hanging over her... That day is ONE huge memorable day... she did it... no fear... all full of excitement and courage. And a beautiful smile!!! I am one proud mommy!!!! I was smiling, grinning, cheering.... oh... a tear duct prob let out some droplets.

I love the seashell we pick.... the glass bottle.. I need to fill it with sand.

I have been good!

I have been away from the computer for a longer while....... and I think it is a good thing. Because sometimes I stay glued here for too long...... browsing...... aimlessly!!! LOL. Sometimes it is a good thing cos I stay connected with friends around the world........ But times when I am away, I get to be more efficient with time. I have been a good girl - "Santa", pls remember me this Christmas!!!! What did I do for the last few days? - I finished up 3 LOs for class samples. I can't wait to teach this. It is MAGICAL!!!! - I finished up DT assignments early so I am freed up next 2 weeks. - I finished up 2 LOs for nobody but MYSELF........ *wink*...... nice! This week, hop over to THE SCRAPPIEST. Sketch #83 HERE I love these photos of my girl, picking leaves. And those new Prima flowers... esp the pink one.. it has a feather on it! Pure magic! And I am loving the felt ferns too much! I wish I had bought more! Aiyo! "Sweetheart" .......... here's a random one I did.... I love those cool sunglasses. This week's prompt at Creative Prompts for you. I love the vintage prompts. Here's my interpretation. "9"..... my lovely girl turned 9 this year and she has such a charming personality. This time I took out all my beloved vintage items....... things i love and just pour them into this page. Yes... I didn't start with any design in mind... I just went with the flow. I didn't want to 'overthink' too much! I dont want to stress myself with being perfect. I just want to enjoy the process. And I did!!!! Things random: - I stitched the pink ribbon at the bottom - I hand sew a heart on the Bingo card - I stamped a bird cage to this new MME paper.... you will see this birdcage stamp very often from now. Amazing news awaits me this month and I find it hard to contain it. LOL! This was soooooooooo exciting ...... especially when Elvira personally called me about this. She invited me to be DT for Made with Love. My hands were shaking when I was holding the phone.... I am over the moon. Thrilled! Then after, I let out a HUGE scream! To design for such an awesome store and in company with such great DT members (Aida, Emeline, Piradee, Pooi and Sharon), I am totally totally a wreck when I got the news! Check out the news HERE!
