I am back!!!

Hello friends, I am back from my family vacation to Australia. Perth is such a beautiful place. I love to go back again. Right now, we are adjusting back to real life - cleaning, packing and washing. It never ends! After a vacation, it seems like more work to do so! Help!

Today I am hosting a Scrap challenge at my LSS. I called it a M&M challenge because it centred on 2 of my fave products: Mists and Metal embellishments

Here's my interpretation: "Amazing" -- a story of my 4.5 year old learning to ride a two wheeler. She is a fast learner... mastering it in 2 days! We are so proud of her!

the metal bike from Prima. i color it with TA Glimmer Mist, glam and glaze. Yes.. just load on the bling. I love how glimmery the bike looks now!

And I misted a circle paper with a TA mask and Glimmer Mist (Patina) ... gives it a nice background for the flower clusters to stand out. Okie, back to more cleaning and unpacking! See you soon!

Fairy, Pixie dust and wings

Hello friends, sorry for missing in action. Some unforsee things happen. I went to the eye specialist. Guess what.... discover I had Retina Tear in my right eye. I have never heard of this before. Scedule a surgery immediately that week because my doctor said we cannot wait. I can go blind if the tear worsen. *Grasp*...... thank God ... I am fine now.

Hmm.... that's why I can type this post. LOL

But good advice for you... have your eyes checked at least once a year

I can't wait to scrap after my op but I was told to rest it a bit first.

So yesterday was the first time I scrap since 18 Oct.

A layout of Pixie Dust, Glitter and wings.

I found a old photo of my elder girl when she was 4+ yrs old.

Now then I did a comparison with my younger one who is 4+ now.

Can you spot the difference.

One is goofy, definitely chubby..... and fun

The other is soft, sweet and delicate (oh... we think she is pretending to be demure).. LOL

I layered lots of Glimmer Mist in the background. I love adding such touches.

And I took out my Glimmer Glam in Pink and load it to my Prima Resin pieces.

Look at that mushroom and bird house. I love the effect.

This is my DT assignment for Made With Love. We had the most lovely of lovely new CHA Summer stuff raining on us!!! The store was full of new goodies which we went goo-goo-ga-ga! Of course I grabbed Prima papers.

A huge congrats!

When my LSS, Made With Love, first opened shop, it was a tiny shopfront at Plaza Singapura . Today after much hardwork and joy, they have expanded to 2 LARGE shopfronts in Plaza Sing! MWL as we dearly call it has become a HUGE success due to its dedicated team and creative owners. The 3 amazing owners, Elvira, Sandra and Swee Ching has kept the personal touches with its customers and have wowed us again again with its trendy new arrrivals every thursday. This week, we shouted HUGE congrats when they expanded to Indonesia! How cool it that? I applauded them for their continuing success and passion in bringing this craft to people in Asia. Some projects

I am in a busy daze now... but I am happy. I find great fulfillment and joy in my work and all I do. So I tell other "I am happily busy"........ but my body needs a rest now. It is a good thing to pause and just let my old body recharge a little. I have not been scrapping much this week because of Easter Week. But I do have some projects to share.... now... my memory is failing me. did i show this before. haha.. This Mini Album was done in our Made With LOVE DT crop. It was sooooo long since I joined a crop! It was a hilarious afternoon with ladies chatting away, jokes shared....... i really like the social!!! Alrighty.... I need a rest now. Will be back soon Have a GOOD EASTER!

Websters Pages March Challenge "Create a shaped layout" ......... here's what I did. My fave technique of using a border punch and patiently re-creating them in the circular shape. And I just know on Monday that I won the challenge. Yay.... yay!!!! I am so happy to win some WP goodies

Next is this funny layout about the silly 3 in my household. Using Prima .... hahaha.. you didn't know they have such strong masculine colors??? From the collection "reflections"... i did up for Made with Love (my lss). It should be up at the store now.

Finally, a simple project for my sister..... for her office desk.... to see this precious girl! Using lots of Melissa Frances stuff! My fave too.

Ok, this has been a long post. I am still dancing around the house with my copy of Somerset Memories! haha... I am on dental Medical Leave so i can browse all I want. Back to work soon! Arrrggghh.......... LOL

Have you felt awed by creation before? I grasped and stood still. Last year, we went to Penang for vacation and we hop into this butterfly farm You know I luurrrve butterflies on my scrapbook pages. Going into this place just send me into jittery chaos. Totally beautiful........ they have so many types of butterflies......... just fluttering around you. Gosh.... I love every min of it!!! Techniques on this page: - I started with 'nothing-ness'.... haha... is there such a word - yap, I didn't go with a sketch... i just add and layered as i deem fit - i went with my inner flow - I know I wanted butterflies and flowers..... use the Prima transparent packaging. Scrap and go

Hi friends, how was your week? It has been a crazy 5 days......... my little one went into ER (Emergency Room) last Friday... wee hours of the morning. Difficulty in breathing. Did we panic? Maybe I am too sleepy to be panicky. I was calmed when we were driving her there. She was not screaming.... just too tired..... bits of wheezing. The flu has quickly become bronchitis. Where did that come from? I dont know. I am just thankful God protected her. She is safe now. Breathing better. Thankful everything is on the mend! And mommy found 45 minutes to scrap and quickly launched into full swing. I am amazed how fast I scrap these days because I knew I just had that 1 hour or so. And I need to complete 2 LOs. Seriously fun!!! Like there is a hour glass beside me.. i knew I cannot think too much. Yet I knew what I wanted. A vision of the end effect and emotion. Seize the day! And off I go to zzzzzzzzzz land!!! Here's my DT assignment for THE Scrappiest. I will be stepping down after my term ends next week. Thanks Liz for having me on the team! I totally enjoyed it. And here's another DT assignment for my LSS, Made with Love. We get to use embossing powders. Just perfect for my new Prima stamps. You got to see those Prima stamps. I swear I can buy the entire range if hubby didn't whisper 'self control' into my ears!!! LOL!! Beside the birdcage stamp, this chicken wire/fence(what do you call this) stamp is my FAVE FAVE now! Things are off to a good start this month, Prima picked my layout for its DEC Color Palette! I won! I won! I am sooo thrilled. Thanks, Prima. catching up on time!!!

Hello friends, how are you? Can you smell the holiday season!!! I walked into a mall and I hear Christmas songs and see glittering lights. It is TIME TO BUY Presents!!! Gosh... I am so late this year! All the travelling last month and this has been taken a toll on me!!! I need to catch up on buying gifts!!! On the scrapping front, I have been diligent in my DT assignments. Now that I am back........ I want to take it a bit easier. LOL! All DT work are on track....... and I want to play with some challenges here and there. OPs.... did I forget my shopping??? Anyway, here's all the DT assignments for the past weeks which I did not post here. Here's one I did for The Scrappiest. "ALONE" Check out HERE. Here's one for Creative Prompts for you. HERE And here's one for my LSS (Made with LOVE) I love love this "newest" photo of my girl. Her latest craze is to water the plants in my block. (apartment) She is the resident gardener now! Spending 2 bucks on that watering can is soooooo worth it! Hours of fun for her. But I am not wanting to check my water bill for now! *chucks* See this butterfly? I rub some Distress Ink (Victorian Velvet) and then spray apply some Glimmer Glam (chandelier). It just sparkles!!! nice That's all friends! I got to return to my daily grind now! I have been good!

I have been away from the computer for a longer while....... and I think it is a good thing. Because sometimes I stay glued here for too long...... browsing...... aimlessly!!! LOL. Sometimes it is a good thing cos I stay connected with friends around the world........ But times when I am away, I get to be more efficient with time. I have been a good girl - "Santa", pls remember me this Christmas!!!! What did I do for the last few days? - I finished up 3 LOs for class samples. I can't wait to teach this. It is MAGICAL!!!! - I finished up DT assignments early so I am freed up next 2 weeks. - I finished up 2 LOs for nobody but MYSELF........ *wink*...... nice! This week, hop over to THE SCRAPPIEST. Sketch #83 HERE I love these photos of my girl, picking leaves. And those new Prima flowers... esp the pink one.. it has a feather on it! Pure magic! And I am loving the felt ferns too much! DT assignments for Made With Love

Hello friends, how is your week? This week is my turn for DT to showcase the amazing wonder of Sizzix Dies. I have to admit I am one who does not want to spend on these... but now that I am given 1 machine...... I have to say I kept buying these versatile dies. A good investment!!! And now with Christmas coming soon, I just bought Glitter American Craft papers.... that plus Sizzix Dies... gorgeous outcome!!! I get to work with a Christmas theme one and a set of swirls. Love love how versatile the swirls are. I made a 2 pager......."Xmas Parade" .... something must have hit me.. I have not made a 2-pager in many years of my scrapping life. Today I decide to leap right in...... scrapping last Dec Disneyland photos. Thank goodness, this 2pager turn out 'well-balanced'.... hahaha.. I was standing up the whole time, with these pages on the floor, making sure it look balanced and not 'loopy'......LOL! With gorgeous papers from Making Memories and Prima flowers, Vines... match made in heaven! I love this Sizzix Die - STAR!!! With red glitter paper, I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE it! Another page: Where's Santa? ... wanted a Christmas page but not so much of it... so i redefine "santa' in my journaling........ Journaling: I dont believe in Santa but I've met many in my life.. they dont wear red... have long white beards but their giving touched my heart. They are the real Santas!!! i love these branches (Sizzix Die).... small enough so it does not overpower your page... Tuck some here and there... you get a whimiscal look!!! I added red crystals and painted them with GOLD Shimmerz.... I told you I can't live without Shimmerz Gold. You should get 10 bottles of these.... LOL! And this cute reindeer... I give it a RED NOSE... and painted its horn(is that what you call it) with Gold Shimmerz .... again!!! Yes.... again.. it just adds that omph.... that glitz to anything!!! And I 'made a scarf' for this cutie reindeer... see that red Maya Road Trim.

I never did know how to define my scrapping style...I am usually lost cos I am such a 'go with the flow' scrapper... ie.. flow of my creative energy, flow of the products... but I guess there is 1 'default' flow I love.... distressing, inking and adding textures and dimension. A bit shabby chic... a bit 'weird'...... hahaha

Ok, I am off to make some Christmas Cards while the mojo is still there, and the Sizzie Dies are still around.

Prima Canvas Purse

I was pretty excited when Aida gave me this assignment. Oh.. she knows my heart. All things pretty, shabby and a PURSE!!!! LOL... So, I went with the prep of this canvas. I painted it with MM and Kaiser Pink Paints. Took out my Glimmer Mist (Turquiose), Maya Mists (Lime Metallic)... The key is to have fun, spraying!!! Just go.... dont need to aim!!! Next embellishing it was very exciting me.. I let out a few giggles with the pretty flowers, pearls, lace! Oh... I am in a flower garden now! See the tulle I added on the handles.. the pearls.. I just love the extravagant look... Cos My little princess loves this purse, as much as she loves her bags!!! Insides page: I went for small photos to tell my story. I was amazed at how many photos I can find with her holding a bag, hugging a purse.... Gosh... she is turning into a mini 'wendy"... I love bags, as you know!!! LOL See here, she can barely walk and she is holding one already. *cute* and little ms princessy uses her toys packaging as 'bags' too! *fainting*

She even used her daddy's and if it is not enough... she uses my 'real one"

My 1st DT assignment for MWL

I am a little jittery today. This being my first DT assignment for MWL... I am really feeling the pressure! LOL... I know.... I sound silly, right? But I guess I go through this phrase of butterflies in my tummy... Did I use the products 'correctly'... did I do it justice.... hahaha... yes... I am a wacko... sometimes! Well the moment I started misting... playing a little with the papers... I guess I just let my style run! Here's IT "Bad Hair Day"....... a really silly shot of my girl 'horrible' hair day!!! Ooooo.... I painted this white flower with Shimmerz...... color is Key Lime. Just love love the glimmer, shimmery effect!!! I tied a little baker twine between 2 alphas... just some fun touches. I am finishing up more DT assignments for Creative Prompts.. can't wait to reveal that! I hope there is some good sunlight tomorrow to take these new projects.
