Drop me a email at solouloulou@yahoo.com
And now some projects to share..... for YSS: "Mini Album - PLAY", using Lily Bee products. I use their die cuts as the base for each page. I love this collection a lot. Very versatile. Oh.. their rubons are amazing! Love the quotes. And the theme for this album is prompted by OLW. I document all the little things we like to play together and in the house. Really simple. COVER
- I back it with corrugated board. See, I spritz some Glimmer Mist on it. Love 'coffeeshop'... brown and gold shimmer. - I love my stamps.... I am collecting butterflies stamps. This one by Purple Onion is just right for me now.
- I use numbers as masks... see the row of numbers. I list down all the things we love to do. This scallop circle is my fav. See the butterfly mask - that is actually the negative of my SR chipboard. And that colour... oh.. I hated it initially... hahah.. dont tell Tattered Angels. It was too light. But using it again is pure magic... and I like that it is actually light in colour. "Vintage pink". Just perfect for me now.
Another look at my fav colour: Glimmer Mist "Vintage Pink... against the blue(Patina)... very nice! And that rubon is perfect.
SEe my animated self.......... when playing with Guesstures... pure FUN! My family actually loves to see me 'act' cos it usually brings out huge chuckles and laughter. I was trying to act out the word "horse".......... do you know what they guess? WHALE!!!! My acting must be really bad! LOL
Heart chipboard as mask... this green (Key Lime) is a close fav to my pink. LOL! I just like that it looks so happy.
Oh.. these 2 goofy girls are playing hide and seek. So I made a 'curtain' from Lily Bee papers. Journaling behind the curtain. This pink again! Yes.. I know.. . I am in love with this Vintage pink. I love this photo. They are playing pillow fight... I captured all the laughter and that Lily Bee rubon is just right for this photo.
Use your alphas as mask too. Very fun!
This stamps says "Memories - this is the stuff that life is made of"
How true!
Thanks for staying with me for this long post!
Check out YSS........... ALOT of new goodies has arrived.

Projects for YSS

These are some altered art and mini albums for YSS.
I met my friend, Annissa last week and she was mentioning that she love shaped mini albums but find it tedious to cut and trim the papers to the chipboard album. Then the filing.. so tiring, right?
I feel the same way. But I still wanted the base of my pages to have some papers.
This is what i did. A cheat's way! LOL
See this mini... I am not gonna cut papers according to these gears shape.
So I just painted the sides. And I cut papers to back the centre portion.
Same for this apple album. Can you imagine a few hours of cutting. So I just mists the edges of the album and I cut out papers to mat the photo and some journal space. You can see the red edges, which gives a nice contrasts to the papers.
This album is so quick and easy to do. A gift for my friend who is not into scrapping. But I am using this to convince her. LOL!
Next, YSS sent me this chipboard scallop circles from Scenic Route.
What do I want to do with it since I already have it?
I thought I want to try something really different. Not on scrapbook pages.
I want to do an altered project. Here's the final product. I love it.
I mist the chipboard with Glimmer Mist. Oh.. the mists are soooo lovely. I love the colours.
And I placed the biggest size chipboard on a ribbon spool. I used Baker's Twine to thread thru the chipboards and make them hanging. The final flower (green) is rested on a stack of wooden ribbon spools (YSS sent me these). I embellish with some vintage items from YSS Vintage Shoppe. If you want not check it out.. you should. Tulle, pearls, butterflies... oh... my fav!
And added some wooden mini pegs. I can clip on some message or quote here.

a collection of stamping love

Here are some of my projects, LOs, cards with stamping work on them. Hope you enjoy these inspirations: Card: - stamping on fabric with a script stamp (background) and a Tim Holtz butterfly stamp Layouts: - a frame stamp(autumn leaves) onto transparency with White Staz-on - stamp swirls behind the paper - using a swirl stamp on the edge of the paper, to give the edge more definition. - stamp a swirl and heat emboss with white embossing powder. - stamp on fabric and made my own buttons "Life is fun". - I used 5 different types of stamps in this LO. See the edges! - the butterflies stamps are stamped with mists from Maya Road and Tattered Angels. - stamp on a 'tissue paper' with black staz-on. This gives it a nice background. - Also stamped on the right top corner fabric. altered art: notes holder using Maya Road chipboard. - stamp a bird behind the flower, heat emboss with white embossing powders. Give it a nice clear pic. Hope you like all my stamping art!

More projects using Scenic Route Garden Grove. Erica sent me so much paper, I thought I never finished using them. Yet the more I used, I more want to create. Here are MORE: LO "Yay, it's mine" - a documentation of my girl fav purse. See that lovely polka dot Minnie Mouse wallet. It is soooo pretty, I wanted to bribe her to give it to me!!! LOL Little tags - I used them as coupon/tickets. Made in advance for Sept cos I will be away for 10 days. I will hide it around the house and let her be busy finding it. So little surprise along the way. I love these Elle Studio cards - so easy to use. I just mist it.... added some butterfly punch out. Stamps - yes.. I bought some Purple Onions stamps. Just lovely. Cards: Yes.. I am using the orange, green theme and created these sets of 4. Very quick and simple cards for my church friends. See the butterfly stamps from Purple Onion. So far, my fav!!! I stamped with glimmer mist. A technique Ronda taught. Try it. So fun!
Have a great weekend! Check out YSS for lots of goodies to be won. Lots of contests too. You can surely win something.

More projects for YSS

I love playing with what Erica sent me. Using all Scenic Route Garden Grove papers. Here are more: So Alike: Close up of the cluster of embellishments: I punched out 2 scallop circles. Traced a tree trunk onto green paper. Layered them together and we get a tree. That black thing is a Hambly frame. Just wanted more layers so I added a touch of black. Those "red apples" are cut from Maya Road Pom-pom trims. fun! See the pleating of the paper. Add texture. Love it. Mini album using Maya Road Coaster album. YSS is having sale on these chipboard album. I think this is the best time to buy them cos they are marked down and I usually like to make them as gifts. Really inexpensive GSS GSS stands for great singapore sale. Annual thing here with great discounts. You can tell my obsession. I bought a total of 16 pairs of shoes for myself and my 2 girls. Horrific! LOL Made some flowers with scraps. Added pom pom trims in the centre. Check out YSS daily. We will be giving some NEW CHA stuff. Erica said she has a trolley full of samples. Wow.. I love to have some of that too!
