Where have I been????

Where have I been????? I have been missing from this blog for a week. I usually updated every few days but the last week has been soooo tiring. My little girl fell sick... I mean really bad!!! She was listless....... vomiting a lot. A really bad flu bug. She puke in the car (enroute to the doctor)... on my sofa....... and on ME!!!! I smell horrible!!!! Really I felt like soaking in a container of perfume! By today, the horrible times are over. And I had assignments due... my class samples to rush out. Seriously everything just came together at the same time. But the biggest miracle was: I was still scrapping!!!! A true blue scrap addict. While she was napping and after I smell better after several baths, I sat down to scrap. At least 4 LOs done within the last 2 days. Ok.. some good news!!! All fans of my "Magical Wishes" class... We are at Magical Wishes 4 now!!! How fast! Finally after much delay from shipping side, the stuff are all here. Check out the newsletter on 1st May at Made With Love. You got to be patient... keep dialing that number to get a place. There are soooo many people calling in on the first day! hee..hee... see you in class! Here's what you will be playing with!!! Primas, Primas.... Primas......and more! And here's some new colors (Shimmerz). You gals bought all the PINK color which we used for the last class. Arrrgg...... I didn't even get a bottle!!! hee..hee... Stuff always sell out after we used it in class!!! Now I got to 'chop' (reserve) some for myself before I see you in class. And next 2 days, i will post my YSS dt assignments. Still working on the gorgeous stuff. Thanks for staying with me in this LOOOOOONG post!!!!

Under the Dear Lizzy Spell

I am trying out a different style than my usual shabby chic way. And seriously I am in love with the Dear Lizzy Collections. Here's 1 LO I did "The miracle of the Bike". It's amazing that she just stepped onto the bike and could paddle and move forward No more back breaking practices for us!!! Techniques: - I misted with blue mist and cloud and then I doodle the outline of the clouds - did some cutting with the banners... And after watching Elizabeth Kartchner on American Crafts blog, I had to make these flowers. I made 7 in under an hour. Using my fabric stash. Wow... that was easy! I made a cluster and altered my girls white tee. Cute-nesss!!! I found a stash of Prima bling bling centres. Perfect for this flower And made more here! The pink polka dot is made from Dear Lizzy fabric paper. My fave! And speaking of stash, I decided to do a random RAK with my blog followers. I can't thank you enough...... (hugs) I see many new faces! thank you thank you! So, this RAK will go to one of my blog followers..... I will draw a winner on Monday. You still have time to add your name there! And I will add in some of the above handmade flowers!!! thanks for dropping by with your sweet comments!
If you have not gotten any Dear Lizzy papers or fabric pp, get them from YSS.
Your scrapbookstash has everything from Dear Lizzy.

Photo Challenge

Hello friends, how was your weekend? I was teaching last Sat and it was fun meeting new people. (waving to you) Talking about friends, I am so glad to have met a very talented local scrapper, Pearl. She is very nice - helping me buy stuff or introduce me to new things. And she is a genius in using Mists. You just have to see her pages. And I like that she is REAL. She speaks her mind, say what is on her heart, and I come to treasure this budding friendship. We share quite a bit over text/sms or phone. We did a photo challenge - meaning scrap the same photos and see where our styles takes us. It was fun to see the different takes. Here's mine: TODAY Journaling, this is a picture of my girl smiling, singing and full of anticipation for school. She was not like that. She was sobbing, crying, screaming for 1 month. Finally she has settled in well. I rejoice over the change. So, hop over to her blog and check out hers. HERE

yippee hooray

I thank God for April showers, at least it is cooler...... and I believe this will be a good month. After Easter, it was a long long weekend of serving in my church and I really enjoyed it. Here's some good news: - I've got 4 LOs picked up for publication. Woohooo........ ! - my canvas project was featured over at AMM....... HERE. - both my April classes are full now. I just popped into MWL (my local scrapbookstore) today. You can put your name on waiting list cos we may have 1 or 2 who backed out if they have not made payment, due to work or last minute schedules. And here's 1 I did using Prima March Build A Page. "Learning to WINK"..... Dont you think this piggy is really cute? Her sister and I were doing the WINK, our code for our secrets. And she wants to learn. And see the contorted face.... she is cute, funny and feisty... all roll in 1 package! There is a technique which I taught in my previous class before. Yes... dunk the paper in water, crumple it, roll it, distress it... tear it... and throw all your stress on it!!! LOL That's how I can get the roll up and folded effect. See you soon!

Where did March go?

Wow.... April is here and in Singapore we are getting a bit of rain...... wet days are here! I like the cooler weather but I hate the dampness........ and not enough sunlight to photograph my LOs. LOL. Talking about March, I totally miss this. My LO was featured over at Crate Paper BLOG. And a huge congrats to my friend, Lucy for making it as their blog contributors. Woohoo! What else did I do? I taught 3 classess for my LSS. It was a blast......!!! All classes were full... and I want to say a big "Thank you" to all of you. I know many of sign up without looking at the samples. Wow... that's huge faith in my work. THANK YOU THANK YOU! We had lots of new faces...... and of course we tried new new Shimmerz products. Everyone LOVE LOVE the Shimmerz and Blingz...... and every person bought 2-3 bottles. Everyone love the Prima papers, blings and flowers too. Dont we just go BLING BLING? Thank you for coming. We will have 2 more classes in April. I know many of you were on waiting list.... I hope you can get a slot. This sat and next, I will be teaching. See you. And I tried out 2 challenges sites which I have been stalking.... Pencil Lines and Creative Therapy. Pencil Sketch #177 "Silly" I love these photos of the girls and I. One day I was planning to take some photos of myself. Then these 2 silly girls squeeze in and we had a huge roar of laughter because I was trying to stop them from hiding my face. In the end, we capture such spontaneous silly moments. It was fun! Now i learnt a trick - if I want to take photos of them,(usually they dont want to) ..... i will tell them I only want to take pictures of myself. You know, Reverse psychology! It is working here. At least I can save money on the candies, lollipop, crackers, chips etc.... Yes.. I bribe my kids to take pictures. Bad mama... LOL Thanks for your lovely comments on my last posts. Enjoy your day!
