Finally after settling the homefront, I can get back into some scrapping, sort through photos from my trip.

It was a fruitful trip... the weather is really cold there... thankfully some days we get some sun.

I hope to post some pictures of my trip later.

As the usual scrap-a-holic I am, I headed to a newstand and bought a few scrapbook magazines.

To my surprise.... see my find!!! My LO is this issue.... oh... what a happy moment!

Here is my LO using MME papers..... thanks SBM for choosing my LO!

Made my happy day! And finding it in Australia is really a delight.

Now back to my scrapping, here's 1 I did using Websters Pages.

"Solitude" I use a Pencil Lines sketch #193... I love love this sketch!

I stash it away and I knew I will use it someday.

Some techniques:

- use a mix of yellow and black mist (loving the black one by Heidi Swapp)

- use string and just coil it around

- use motifs from the gorgeous WP papers

- using just 3 main colors (blue, yellow and red)

Magical Wishes Class 4

Hello friends, thanks for dropping by. I am away in Australia now. Will try to reply your emails when I get back. Here's a post I have scheduled: A layout I taught last month "Magical Wishes 4". Using the gorgeous papers from Websters Pages. Believe.......... I love tearing the paper to reveal the other side. Websters has such lovely double sided paper... we can't decide which side to use. Use this technique!!! Thanks for all who attended... we had FULL Classes... all kits are used up. I loving cutting the quotes, motif from their paper. Here's some I cut out and embellish it around the photo.

my crazy LSS

I am fortunate to be teaching classes at Made with Love. Really, from the bottom of my heart...I am grateful. Elvira, SweeChing and Sandra gave me the opportunity to teach some 1.5 years back. And I have enjoyed every single class I taught. They are always so encouraging. The "Magical Wishes" series was birthed and now it is onto its 5th series. There is always this special, magical feeling whenever I teach MW. Yesterday, I dropped off my July Class Sample and immediately the ever sweet Swee Ching sent me a sms and said that was gorgeous. Hello weekend!!!! I love it when it is here... which means some family time before I fly off next week to Brisbane!!! I am excited because I have heard so much about it and have never been there. And of course, before every trip, it is always tiring to finish off 101 things on my 'to-do' list. I get pretty organized about it until the last 2 days... some laundry I forgot to pick up from the dry cleaners... and the list goes on!!! See, that's why I have the list in the first place. But at least, my sample for Made With Love July Class is ready. Phew... I was brewing all the ideas for months... finally when I get to touch the papers... oh... the embellishments.... I cannot stop. Seriously this is a 3 hour class but I felt like I want to take it to 10 hours cos there are some many details I want to add....... and add.... and add......... Somebody stop me! Yes.. time did! I gave myself today to finish it and tomorrow I can drop it off. Hooray!!! But then again... I may add some stuff when I return from my trip! *Wink*..... I have to say this album makes me happy... I am so excited to teach it!!! Remember to call the 'hotline' on 1 July when seats go off pretty fast. Aida will have a really cool class too. You gals are spoilt for choices at Made with Love. Here's 1 I did in between the stress of making stuff and working... LOL! "Gift"....... I love this girl of mine... we went outdoors... she went picking 'flowers'... well, turn out to be weeds... she insisted on keeping them for me!!! LOL I went simple this time..... lots of empty space.... really clean, dont you think? Do I want to add more? NO.... just some fussy cutting.... clean simple embellishments. Just a story I want to tell....... about this cutie girly of mine. Finally I used the Websters Bloomers....... I love these! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend. Hello friends, I am back. I have been buried under some scrapping and preparing for a new class in July. Hint Hint.. if you love modern vintage, join me. Log onto the Newsletter on 1 July over at Made with Love. Here's 1 LO which I love alot. Sometimes in our creative journey, we create stuff and some were so so. And some just makes me smile. This one is one of them. LO "Read to me" I like banner so I decided to cut up some flowers and make my own version. I am loving my Photoshop a lot.. ran a action through these photos...add my own touches make the colors a litte faint.. a little dreamy... What do you think? I love these twine I bought from Daiso(our Singaporean $2 shop). Isn't amazing what you can find in this store. This project is supplied by YSS. Hop over now for your scrapping needs. I am back in full swing after my vacation. Back to life... back to 'work'.... back to everyday.... It is kinda of hectic again with kids camps... art camps... etc.. But I like it back home. Somehow a fine balance between longing for a break and back to the comfort of home. Do you feel that way? You want to go away for a bit and then you miss home. Hmm.......... And today it's a good day for my scrapping... finished 4 LOs in a day!!! Phew... I was happy....... YSS sponsored this challenge site "Scrap it with a song' last week and I didn't manage to participate because of my vacation. But I caught up on some lost time and did this Challenge #8 "Girls just wanna have fun". "Remembering the FUN" ..... photos from Phuket. My girls really can teach me a thing about fun in the pool. I am way too 'cool' for their brand of fun aka soaking in water. My idea of fun is to lounge in the chair... soaking in the sun and sipping cola. They got me IN! I mist some 'waves' in the background... can you spot it? And I chose to work with the blues and red from the Prima Strawberry Kisses Papers. Now, since I am with the challenge at Scrap it with a Song... I might as well try Challenge#9 since I love love this song "Could not ask for more" Check out the song there! "Could not ask for more"...... scrapping about my hubby. I could not ask for more... he is my soul mate... my friend, my encourager.... my cheerleader.... my support... my 'mind'... yes.. he reads it like an open book. Cut the Prima Strawberry kisses papers and distress it.... now I am loving more new distress ink colors. Punice Stone and Tumbled Glass.... I layered a songsheet (vintage music score)... a Prima canvas.... and tucked some flowers, chipboard around it. Guess where is the hidden journaling. I cut this chipboard into half and tucked it here.

Yes... you are right.. the journaling is on the right.. the row of flowers.. pull it out and a journaling sheet appears.
