I made a house project last month. You can see the project here. And I made this album to put inside the house. I wanted to document the things we do as a family....... and really the daily stuff are important. Cover: Capture the times we prayed as a family. Sitting in a circle and holding hands. okok.. .my hands are missing cos I was taking the picture. hee..hee... The other side for journaling. eating together. I enjoy the times where we eat and chat up over what happened thru the day. A great way of connecting. The kids love to talk.... talk about their silly stuff.... well, it is important to listen to them.
Here they are painting Mommy's project... hahaha... the fence for the house project. cool, right!!! These 2 girls playing on their own... okok.. this is like the perfect setting... they usually fight after 30 mins .... LOL
JOurnaling about the home improvement projects we did.
In the home now, we have this DIY magnetic wall where we put our travel magnets. Love that it is family project together.
Using a quote from 7G stickers.
I added a vellum over the photo.
Our happy family.
ok.... this one is a little sentimental.... I decided to write them a letter......... maybe it is the sudden death of someone, which frighten me.... so i decide to pen my love and thoughts to them..... in case God calls me home suddenly.

Hop over. Sale is still on! LO': AM routine This little girl loves to watch the world go by in the morning... perch herself on the table, overlooking the window. My first time playing with Crate Paper... I have to say, these colours grow on me. I am loving pinks, grey now. This LO is based on Alyssa sketch over at YSS blog. Heard of Shimmerz paints... I painted these chipboard alphas with these gorgeous shimmering paints. Love it LO: read map Have you seen a 3 yr old read a map with such intensity? She is really serious. First thing when we stepped into Disneyland... she ran and grab a map..... studied it for a while and yell out "I am going here'... see she leads the way!!! This LO is based on Lady Grace's sketch over at YSS blog. For mists, I have to say Maya Road just gives that intensity of coverage. Love love this gold colour.

Finally I had time to work with some Websters Pages..... using a mix of papers from 3 different collections. I submitted this for Jan challenge where you got to try out a new texture. I played with tissue paper and paints. Very fun! See the textures it created. LO: Little Dreamer I dab white paint all over. I love this white frame from Melissa Frances and that cute stamp from Crafty Secrets.
I love this picture of my girl. She sleeps like a little cat or puppy, folding her legs and lying on her tummy. She can really hold in this position for very long. Wonder if it is comfortable. LOL

Woohoo........ i get to play with Graphic 45 papers for Jan DT kit from YSS. I know I have lots of Christmas photos to scrap. Yet these papers are very versatile too for other pics. All DT this month get to scraplift from one another. This my take on Liz Chidester "Ham" LO where she cut and curl papers.......... love it. Me, being the shabby chic girl who loves to distress and tear and ink... I simply tear and roll back the papers with my fingers. LO" Wisdom"
This is how our family handles the avalanche of presents from Christmas or birthday.
A wise parent taught me this. Every year, after they tear open the wrapper of the presents.
They get to choose 2 that they want to play with NOW. The rest goes into Mommy's treasure box.
Then over the next 12 months, mommy slowly releases 'treasures' out 1 by 1.
But of course, I release craft materials, stationery rather easily cos these has shelf life. Pens get dry up easily.
And if they have similar toys or toys which are not suitable, I 'buy over' from them. I gave them some pocket money to save. But overall, they got to donate 2 of all the toys they get to Charity.
Why we do what we do? Cos I want them to really treasure their gifts.... it is too much for child to open all 20-30 presents at 1 time and really they dont play with them and they lose interest easily. I remember how I had 1 doll and that was my fav and I really play it to 'death'....... LOL.
And also i want my children to remember the less fortunate...... to receive is a blessing but to give is a greater blessing. I want them to be charitable, to be conscious of the lesser fortunate in society and less of the "Me, I, Myself" craze. I want to teach my children the value of handling material blessings........ not to be overwhelm and control by stuff.
This sweetie cannot contain her excitement..... since the presents under the tree keep growing... she has been lurking around the tree.... asking"Can I open my presents"......... and today, right out of bed........ hair in a mess... eyes blurry... she hid behind the Christmas tree... checking out her presents....
Is she a cutie?
I made this star and hang some tags on it with twine.

Do you like your Christmas gifts? My kids went wild opening theirs...... really! They went "Wow....... I always wanted this"......... "Wow, this is my favorite"....... I just wish I record them down. This little princess is hugging her bottle of bubbles. I have not seen a girl who love bubbles so much. And this Missy is crazy over bags..... she got like 4 of them this Christmas...... she went "Yay" Hmmmm, I wonder where this craze came from? can you spot the group of 20-30 presents around her. I am gotta scrap about my 'theory' of handling presents. A wise parent taught me that... .a LO is on the way! Of course, this mommy here went "WILD" too! That's my PRESENT, arriving next week from USA. You know that, right.... my love for Kate Spade bags. And I love that I bought it online after Christmas. The sale is worth it!!!! heee..hee... I am a happy girl. And this killer heels....... hmm... what's a stay at home mom gotta do with it? Well, I LOVE IT! My hubby got it for me...... how... i chose it at Zara... ask him to go and pick it up! hahaha.. Well, my friend ask me "but you wear flats all the time?"...... hmm.. that's why..... I need a little sexy heels.. a little fantasy... Someone better invite me to their wedding this year so i can wear this shoe. LOL! I just love the height, love how my calf looks leaner, my butt tighter.... okok... I was over the top.
And this gift touch my heart. Joleen gave it to me. She is a 'participant' in many of my classes I teach in my LSS.
And I am so surprised to receive and most importantly the warmth of her thoughtfulness just fills me.
