hand me some love
I bought some Websters Pages Yacht Club papers when I stepped into my LSS not too long ago.
I was pretty mesmerized with the blues, yellow, red and kraft.
Immediately an idea jumped at me.
I want to make a journal book for hubby.
To record his journey --- told him life is too sudden sometimes
I want him to write some letters to our daughters
I want them to know him - his real self - his faith , his struggles, his victories
So, I set out with 6 pieces of pattern papers and create this.
I am happy with the textures.
And whatever is left, I create this layout for him. These colors are cheerful enough yet not too feminine for a male layout. That's what attracted me!
I love sewing here and there on my pages!!! I love that sewn in banner.... hmm... I will try more of these in my next projects
Thanks for dropping by! And waving to my new blog followers......... glad to see you here!
Life is pretty busy now but I am still on time for some DT work...... and happy to do that!
And 2 biggie projects up soon...... one for my darling niece birthday!!
She deserve a BIG PARTY BANNER.... dont you think?
She deserve some lovely pom-poms.
She needs some layouts displayed on her birthday!!!
hahaha..... it's the Aunt's idea!!! LOL

something love
I love my iphone........ in fact I am rather complusive.... I check it every sec. LOL
And I love the pink cover I bought ...... do you have an obsession?
Scrap it! I am hosting a challenge at my LSS ......... check out HERE.
if you reside in Singapore, you may want to join in this challenge. You can win Made with Love vouchers.
And this layout was inspired by a sketch found on ONCE A UPON A SKETCH..
I like this new challenge site...... why? Cos it has journaling involved.
Ever since One Little Word closed, I have been looking for a site which emphasize on journaling.
It is so important to move away from the 'decorating' of scrapbooking and go deeper into the world of writing our thoughts down.
Check it out HERE.
Okie, hope you find time to scrap and have fun!

Lots of Prima Love
First up is my little contribution to Love Japan since the disaster hit them. Tomoko set up a auction thingy to raise funds for the victims>>> HERE.....
I want to contribute something and last month I made 3 sets of cards and 2 mini albums for her sale. Made these in 1 day and ship priority to her in zilch time.
Hope this auction kicks off well.
my simple way of blessing the people Japan.
Next up is my entry for Prima BAP....... I take part in this contest every month... I love their sketches and of course, best time to use up my growing Prima stash a bit more.
Ops.. then i buy more! LOL
And a relatively new contest at Prima is their Color Palette. Gorgeous spring colors and I dive into Home and Decor project for our house.
I use the Mistables and spray inks over them and made them into flowers.
My house is certainly brighter with these gorgeous colors.
And I think I owe my sister a "Welcome" signboard for her house. I found this wooden thing (what do you call this)...... anyway, I use a Prima Melody paper to cover a Maya Road Bird Chipboard and alter this for her gate.
And out comes the Prima blooms and vines..... oh... my love!
I hope no one will steal this from her house. Haha!
Hope this inspires you to go beyond the pages and dive into some projects for your house!
Brighten up with flowers, vines or butterflies.
Oh... tame my heart, this spring. I am so loving all the colors i see in magazines and books and window display..... esp Zara!!!
And finally a new RAK winnner.... see HERE..
The winner did not contact for 1 month, it is only fair I pick a new one from my blog followers
Here is for Jenneke !!!
Email me at solouloulou@yahoo.com
I want to send out the RAK!!!

A huge congrats!
When my LSS, Made With Love, first opened shop, it was a tiny shopfront at Plaza Singapura . Today after much hardwork and joy, they have expanded to 2 LARGE shopfronts in Plaza Sing! MWL as we dearly call it has become a HUGE success due to its dedicated team and creative owners. The 3 amazing owners, Elvira, Sandra and Swee Ching has kept the personal touches with its customers and have wowed us again again with its trendy new arrrivals every thursday.
This week, we shouted HUGE congrats when they expanded to Indonesia!
How cool it that?
I applauded them for their continuing success and passion in bringing this craft to people in Asia.
Way to go , girls!!! I am behind you!
And this week, I kick off a new challenge at MWL
>>Here....
If you reside in Singapore, join in the fun!
A random will be picked and you get to win $20 MWL store vouchers.

Color Combo Galore #190
Hello friends, I am back!!! I like to invite you to hop over to CCG #190 reveal.
>>Here
Gorgeous inspiration awaits you!
And join in the fun too! A generous sponsored prize from Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker.
She sponsored the entire Design Team from CCG...... how big hearted is she!!!
Is these colors just lovely???? Here's my inspired creation "stay close"
I love the muted colors...... I went for a artsy look..... spilling paints and crackle paints here and there. I like the whole random look with lots of layers!
And I purposely 'blur' the photo a bit to give it a different feel.
My fave has to be the Sizzix die cut butterfly. I use a wood sheet from Creative Imaginations.
This products is fun! I stamped on it and inked it a bit...... I love that vintage shabby feel, like i found this butterfly in grandma's stash!!! LOL
These products are available at our LSS now.
Check out Made With Love.
If you have not tried out the challenge at CCG, I like to nudge you a bit!! Go over and try!!!
See you soon! Today will be a scrappy happy day!
